Sinking in, fading out.

So this is my entry for the New face competiotion on ZZ, i was pared up with Sleepless so i used a photo of her as a rev, after finishing the drawing and scanning it, i thought lets go and try some thing new, i found some Cardan D'Ache colour crayons and wanted to try them out becouse i think Sandu's 50 % colour 50% b/w style is really something, luckely i found the portrait of Sleepless a bit empty in b/w, so try'ed the colour crayons on the portrait at first i gave only the eye's, mouth, the area around the left eye and the shaded right part of her face colour (this looked the best imo) and then i made the mistake of colouring the left cheek Anyway overall i'm happy with the outcome, some small proportional mistakes but thats about all Ow, the colour skin-tone is much less coloured and more gray with a little bit of colour showing and not as coloured in the scan, bad bad scanner

The tittle has meaning also, there is a bit of a story behind it, i wanted to do an other drawing with this tittle, in 50% colour and 50% b/w (the colour part inspired by Sandu), becouse i had the stangest dream where i and a couple of other people wake up in a mall, and we are chased by colourless people and if touched by one of them you lose your colour as well, it all ends rather bad, in the end there is just me locked in a dark room with a candle, i can see the colourless people around me in the shadows hiding for the little light the candle gives, then i pray and blow out the candle (see humble prayers for a rev, also insired by the dream btw) and thats where they swarm me like a pack of mad hyina's and where the dream ends.
